Postgraduate Certificate in Senior Leadership (PGCSL)
The senior management’s role is to keep a team focused and motivated. This would require effective communication of strategy, negotiation and the ability to influence team behaviour and manage team results. In a senior role, it’s crucial that one has the right blend of soft skills and a strategic mindset to achieve specific performance outcomes at one’s organisation. The PGCSL programme equips participants with the critical skills to lead an organisation to success.

Course Detail
Project (Optional, Only For Eligible Participants)
An individual project will involve the identification of leadership challenges and opportunities within the participant’s organisation or any business organisation. The issues will be fine-tuned through a series of interactions and guidance of XLRI faculty
Pedagogy
The above-stated objectives will be attained through:
- A very intensive programme useful from a corporate management viewpoint
- 12 months intense learning which also includes a campus study module of learning at the XLRI campus and the rest on the interactive learning platform
- Project work, lecture series, case methods, group work, term papers, assignments and dissertation
- Rigorous assessment with negative marks in some courses.

Programme Delivery
Sessions will be conducted on BCCL Interactive Learning (IL) platform and delivered in Direct-to-Device (D2D) mode that can be accessed by learners on their Desktop, Laptop, Tablet or Smartphone.
Campus Immersion
There will be 5 days of campus immersion at XLRI Jamshedpur* The in-campus modules are subject to the conditions that prevail at that point of time. These conditions pertain to the pandemic or other unavoidable reasons. In case the on-campus module is not confirmed due to COVID-19 situation, the same will be included in the total number of online sessions.

Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3 or 10+2+4) or its equivalent from a recognised University or Institution approved by UGC/AICTE/DEB/AIU/State Government
- Minimum 10+ years of work experience post completion of the qualifying education with relevant managerial experience and aspiring to take on leadership roles in their organisations
